I dislike how quickly ppl become obsessed with shows that take a good book and distort it into something perverse. Personally, I'd rather read the books than watch what is basically soft pr0n. No offense to all you fans of HBO and Showtime, but yeah. It'd be a lot more worth watching without all the explicit content. Gone are movies and TV shows that could tell a good story without full nudity, gore, and all that excess. Pity that.

I really dont get how ppl can get so into TV dramas anymore. I watched the Tudors, but after the first season, I couldnt anymore. it just got too raunchy. Have we really become a world that thrives on that kind of content?

It might sound like a biased opinion, but i dunno....It doesnt help prevent men from thinking lowly of women, and honestly my celibacy has little to do with it. I've been against pr0n for years, despite the fact I read raunchy love novels and manga on occasion. It doesnt hurt anyone and I'm free to imagine it how I please or skim over the dirty bits as I please. Hard to skip over it when it's flashing before your eyes and there's no Fast Forward button. It's supposed to be about the story and the drama right? Well, then what's the point of the explicit excess? For me, it just detracts the focus away from the 'good part'...the story itself. *shrugs* I just dont get it....
